The Peer Education group at Diazville High School in Saldanha Bay marked World Aids Day on Wednesday 1 December. The theme for 2021 is “End Inequalities. End Aids”. Home-based carers and school social worker Sonia Lewaks shared more about the disease with the learners and also covered the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence campaign. A thank you goes to Willetha Maya Bedank, who organised the programme.
