In the fourth month of the year Majesty Masanga (11) from Langebaan has already played more than 20 tennis matches.
The West Coast can be proud as Majesty currently holds the number 1 tennis title in the Boland in her age group.
To achieve this Majesty had to play three West Coast trials, where she made the top 8 team who competed in the West Boland Tournament.
They take top 8 to make the team that competes at the next level at the West Boland Tournament (Platteland).
From there she played interdistrict where only the top 16 made the two teams.
Majesty came out top, without losing a match, which enabled her to become number 1 in the Boland.
With hard work and dedication she made it to the South African Junior Nationals which took place in Bloemfontein between Wednesday 2 and Monday 7 April. This is a very prestigious event where only the top 60 players in South Africa qualify and are invited to celebrate their achievements and hard work.
