Partners for Possibility (PfP) launched their programme for the first time in the Saldanha area on Thursday 27 May.
The nationwide programme brings together businesses and principals of schools to create a partnership for the benefit of the schools.
AJ Edge, learning process facilitator and representative of PfP, says they are very happy to have launched the programme in Saldanha.
Edge explains that once the business has partnered with a school principal they go through leadership development skills and various workshops and then implement what they have learned into helping with the challenges at the school.
Diazville Primary School, Middelpos Primary School, Weston High School, Louwville High School, Langebaan Primary School, Hopefield Primary School, Noordhoek Primary School and EJ Malgarte Primary are the eight schools currently involved .
The businesses involved are Weslander, Sea Breeze Community Development, Re/Max 1st Realty, HJM Distributors, Langebaan Country Estate, Die Plaasmol Padstal, PTF Consulting and Nilundo.
