Did you know that it takes about 200 kg of bread-bag tags or 450 kg of plastic bottle top caps to get enough money for a wheelchair?
Curro Langebaan/Curro Castle Langebaan wants to stand behind this great initiative to try and make life a little easier for those in need.
This project is run by Curro Langebaan’s Diversity Committee.
You do not need to collect the entire amount unless you specifically want a wheelchair for a certain person.
If this is the case, you can also send them in small quantities, but please keep a tally of the weight of what you send in each time. We do not need them to be counted but they must please be checked for other foreign objects as these can damage the grinding machinery at the plant where they are reused in the manufacture of seedling trays.
Curro Langebaan will identify a person in need of a wheelchair, should they collect enough bread tags and bottle tops. Join Curro by sending your bread-bag tags and plastic bottle caps to the school.
