Miles Project is planning to run the free internationally-recognised “Passport to Success” life skills and entrepreneurship training for youth in Elands Bay and surrounding areas.
The training will take place at the end of May. Miles Project has been running youth programmes at the Elands Bay Surf Project since 2017.
The two-week-long course is free to the unemployed aged 18 – 35 and will take place from Monday 23 May to Friday 27 May, which will be PTS Block 1 and the PTS Block 2 will take place Monday 30 May to Friday 3 June.
PTS Block 1 will introduce the foundational life skills topics like communication, managing strong emotions, dealing with criticism, goal setting, assertiveness and more.
PTS Block 2 covers job readiness and entrepreneurship topics such as managing conflict, personal leadership, creative thinking, being a good team player and more.
The course runs from Monday to Friday and takes place between 09:30 and 15:30.
