AK rounds, copper for sale

Two local police officers were patrolling in the St Helena Bay area on Tuesday 6 September when they were informed of a man in possession of AK-47 rounds, which he wanted to sell. The officers spotted the man in a silver Chevrolet Spark and pulled the vehicle over. It was searched and 45 live rounds and copper cables were found in a black bag. The two occupants of the vehicle, 37 and 25 years old, were arrested and will appear in the Vredenburg Magistrates’ Court once charged.
