Poetry Jam has been part of the arts programme in Riebeek Kasteel for over two years, hosting a once-a-month gathering at the Royal Hotel, where both poets and the general public have experienced a variety of artistic words that reflect their society.
Produced by For Life Centre, originator Donker Jonker assisted by Tamzin Lovell-Miller are taking it to the next level.
As part of the new chapter, they are pleased to announce a new venue at the Riebeek Valley Wine Co, in Short Street Riebeek Kasteel, where an interesting and artistic presentation of poetry from both local and national poets will be enjoyed.
Happening the first Sunday of every month, the first edition of the new Poetry Jam is on December 4 at 11:30.
The programme will include live spoken word where people can enjoy experiencing verse from selected poets, plus the Open Mic that invites anyone to present an original work.
Join them for the unique experience where you can sip wine, listen to poetry and even share your innermost thoughts. Admission is free.
