Hearty hand-out at soup kitchen creates warm feeling

To aid those in need, the Shoprite Supermarket Group, Vredenburg Security Business Forum, Vredenburg Community Policing Forum and neighbourhood watches came together to make a difference. Delicious warm food was handed out to about 1 000 people on Saturday 24 June. Sammy Springleer, chairperson of the Vredenburg Security Business Forum, said the day was a success. Children also received toys. Springleer would like to thank everyone for their time, efforts and contributions.
