Careers expo in Saldanha

A one-day careers expo took place at the Multi-purpose Centre in Saldanha on Tuesday 27 June. Hosted by Vital Connection and Government Communication and Information System (GCIS) West Coast, it focused on giving unemployed youth the opportunity to apply for learnerships and work opportunities. The day was attended by about 40 young people. Future plans are to expand this into other areas of the West Coast. Various other stakeholders were also involved.
