West Coast College Vredendal Campus recently hosted a practical welding training session for its electrical students, reinforcing the importance of hands-on learning in technical education. The session was facilitated by Leon Koopman,from the Vredenburg Campus, who shared valuable industry knowledge and guided students through essential welding techniques. His expertise provided students with practical exposure that goes beyond the classroom, allowing them to develop critical skills needed in the field. This initiative forms part of the College’s ongoing commitment to producing work-ready graduates by integrating practical training into academic programmes. By equipping students with real-world experience, the training enhances their technical abilities and better prepares them for the demands of the workplace. -
