Nominated as one of the finalists in the Influential Women of the Year Award 2025 was a huge honour for Alexis Raymond. The 27-year-old from Vredenburg graced this prestigious event, which took place at the Grand West Casino, Cape Town on Saturday 8 November.
Of a total of 100 nominees she made it into the Top 30, a moment she will never forget. Raymond was nominated for her work as entrepreneur, motivational speaker, advocate and volunteering.
She said she was grateful for the opportunity, a big step in her life as a young woman.
“It it was a life-changing experience and amazing to meet all the women. I met so many and it was empowering to learn from each one.”
Throughout this journey Raymond said the highlight was coming back to the West Coast and motivating other young people never to give up.
