Diazville High School is proud of three of their young boxers, who represented the West Coast well.
Samkelo Mbese (70 kg) and Jason de Klerk (48 kg) showcased their skills at the UGC Promotion Tournament held at Bloubergstrand during the June school holidays.
Both athletes secured silver medals and placed second in their divisions.
Meanwhile, Mighty Sangoni represented the South African National Boxing Organisation at the Region 5 Games in Windhoek in Namibia.
The school thanks coach Thando Nkayi and the Saldanha Navy Base Boxing Club for their continued support and for creating life-changing opportunities for the learners through boxing.
