Welkom runners continue to create waves across the country with their sterling performances. The 2025 ANCO Ultra Marathon, organised by the Goudveld Multisport Club was a major success. Local runners took almost all podium finishes in the 48 km, 32 km, 16 km, 10 km, and 4.6 km options. This event is perfect for runners of all levels. The 48 km is also ideal as a simple qualifier for both the Two Oceans and Comrades ultramarathons.
