An upcoming photographic exhibition that will be held in Saaiplaas, Virginia, aims to shed light on climate issues that affect Saaiplaas.

Organised by the F Stop Club, a renowned Johannesburg-based photography company, the exhibition will be held on Thursday, 22 February, and Friday.

The event will be sponsored by the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture.

The primary focus of this exhibition is to create awareness and ignite conversation about the pressing climate issues that our community faces.

It showcases the work of a talented local photographer, Phofu Peter Tsiane, who is described to have captured the true essence, as well as the challenges, of climate change within the local community.

The exhibition venue has been set at a local school within the Saaiplaas community, between St Annes and Saaiplaas Primary, where visitors will have the opportunity to experience the powerful images.

The display of photographs intends to engage and educate school children, featuring thought-provoking images that reflect the environmental consequences and inspire actions to combat climate change locally.
