The Concept Crew Car Club, in collaboration with Uitenhage Co-op, has donated R10 000 worth of food to the SPCA Uitenhage.
This initiative, which aims to give back to the community, was conceived during this year’s Car Show at Daniel Pienaar THS.
According to Concept Crew Chairperson Pierre Janse van Rensburg, ‘We know that the SPCA is in need of assistance.
Our aim was to delay it until just before December because that is the busiest time for the shelter, and when they need help the most.’ As this was the Concept Crew Car Club’s third car show, they plan to make this initiative a regular event.
SPCA Uitenhage Chairperson Deirdre Swift expressed deep appreciation for such initiatives. The Concept Crew challenges other social clubs in Kariega to match their donation towards the SPCA.
