EVERY year Volkswagen honours its top achieving dealerships at the exclusive Grand Prix Awards. Last Thursday, for the first time ever, these awards ceremonies, which took place in two locations, were streamed live to the dealer network throughout the country.
The Kelston Volkswagen Group of dealerships was inducted once again into the Club of Excellence, winning the prestige Dealer Group of the Year Award in their category. Kelston Volkswagen has dealerships located in Uitenhage, Queenstown and Grahamstown – all of which share in this momentous achievement.
Thomas Schaefer, CEO, Mike Glendinning, Sales and Marketing Director and Gerhard Pretorius, Head of After Sales, Volkswagen South Africa were at the Kelston Volkswagen Uitenhage Dealership to hand over the award and congratulations in person.

In addition, Donovan van Eck, Business Manager at Kelston Volkswagen Uitenhage, was awarded the Volkswagen Financial Services Business Manager (F&I) award (category B) for his outstanding achievements and contribution.
The Kelston Motor Group boasts one of the largest footprints in the Eastern Cape and employs more than 300 people.
It currently houses a total of 11 brands over 14 sites across the Eastern Cape.
