UITENHAGE High School, an institution with a rich history spanning six decades, is set to mark its 60th anniversary milestone with a day filled with diverse and engaging activities on Saturday, March 2.
The festivities kick off in the morning with a lively 5km Fun Run/Walk, commencing at 08:00 from the school premises. Registration is open on Friday, March 1, from 15:00 – 18:00, and on the event day from 07:00 – 08:00.

Simultaneously, the school invites all to join the UHS fete, beginning at 08:00. This vibrant event at Uitenhage High School promises an array of food stalls (including halaal options), live entertainment, and a lively atmosphere.
The fete is open to learners, parents, and the broader community, free of charge. Vendors interested in hosting a stall can contact the school office at 041 992 5020 or Mrs M Dolley at 084 300 3501.
Stall bookings are available at R500. It’s an ideal family day out, and your support is eagerly anticipated.
As the day transitions into the evening, Uitenhage High School presents an Evening of Jazz featuring national artist Don Vino, along with Dr Beat, Marcellus, Curtis & Band, in the Uitenhage High School quad.
The event, designed for adult enjoyment, opens its gates at 19:30, with tickets priced at R150.
