THE Station Commander of the South African Police Service in Uitenhage, Brigadier Thandiswe Kupiso invites stakeholder organisations within the Uitenhage station precinct, to nominate candidates who will stand for the elections of the Executive Committee of the Uitenhage SAPS Community Police Forum.
A planning meeting will be conducted on Thursday, October 29 at 17:00, at the conference room of the Victoria Tower (SAPS building), Church Street, Uitenhage.
Nominations are open to anyone who is willing to undergo a criminal record check. Eight individuals will be elected, within the three sectors of Uitenhage SAPS, to serve on the executive committee.
Nomination lists will be circulated prior to the meeting, these must be handed in at the planning meeting.
The General Community Police Forum elections will then be held on Thursday, November 5 at 17:00 at the conference room of the Victoria Tower (SAPS building), Church Street Uitenhage.
