TWELVE rescued animals, who found happy homes, appear on the glossy 2020 calender issued by the Uitenhage SPCA in an effort to raise much needed funds.
“Each of these pets featuring on the calender has been rescued by the Uitenhage SPCA. Most of them have been adopted and now live a happy life with owners who dearly love them,” said Deirdre Swift, manager of the Uitenhage SPCA.
“It is nearly the end of the year, but at the SPCA the pace will not slow down.
“The festive season normally is the busiest time of the year at the SPCA with a sharp incline in the intake of rescued animals, for various reasons,” said Swift.
The A4 glossy calender is the final fund raising effort of the year for the Uitenhage SPCA. It is available at R120 each from the Uitenhage SPCA office in Schonland Street.
“We also wish from the bottom of all the furry hearts at the SPCA, to thank the public so much for their continued support and commitment during 2019. Without your support many more animals would have remained homeless, abused or neglected.
“We wish you all a wonderful festive season filled with love, family and God’s richest blessings,” said Swift.
