UITENHAGE boasts the best dirt oval track female racers in the country!
The 2019 Dirt Oval South African Series final was held at Mega Oval in Worcester and the three top podium positions of the PinkRod Class were taken by female racers who all hail from Uitenhage.
South Africa’s number one PinkRod female racer of 2019 is Suzette Aylward, followed by Leone Lie-benberg (SA2) and Chanell van Tonder (SA3).
What is noteworthy as well is that all three of the female racers competed in VW Citi Golf vehicles, which were manufactured in their hometown – Uitenhage!
All three also are members of Victory Raceway, a dirt oval track race club established by the late Atta Victor, a legendary businessman from Uitenhage.
The objective of the PinkRods is to focus on charity fundraising and to assist people in need.
