Police in Kariega seek any information that can lead to the arrest of suspects responsible for a double murder case that occurred in Kariega on 11 November at about 05:30.
According to Captain Andre Beetge, “Based on information, two victims; a male aged 61 years and a female aged 31 years, were discovered in a shack on Pompana Street, Tiryville, Kariega. On police arrival, they found the body of the male with gunshot wounds to his body and the female with gunshot wounds to her head.”
The suspects and motive for the murder are under investigation.
“A double murder case has been opened and is being investigated by the SAPS Provincial Serious Violent Crime Investigation team (SVCI),” Beetge added.
