VARIOUS projects which benefit from the involvement of the Rotary Club of Uitenhage South, were recently visited by the Rotary District Governor Gianna Doubell, to experience herself the positive change the service club has accomplished.

Amongst the projects visited was the Share Community Development Centre in Kwa- Nobuhle, which includes the Lukhaniyso Child and Youth Care Centre as well as Phaphamani Rape Crisis Centre.

The Rotary Club, ably assisted by the Saint Vincent De Paul Society, has donated decorating supplies to smarten up the inside of the entire main building and also a new settee and microwave oven for the centre.

During the Rotary District Governor’s visit, she was delighted to present the settee and microwave to the centre as a completion of the project.
