A motivational Talk on resilience will be held in support of the Debutante ball of Uitenhage Primary School that is currently celebrating its 50-year celebration.

The school is currently hosting events to generate funds, and the talk is aimed at parents, teachers, leaders, and young people who want to maximize their willpower, courage, inner strength and their capacity to draw from tough times.

“Resilience helps you to make important decisions and keep on to the end. Resilience is one of the key ingredients to assist individuals with the necessary skills for coping,” says event organiser, Dalene Caesar.

“We call on current and previous learners, teachers, and parents, as well as the broader community to benefit from this talk which will be held on September 9 at the VGK Ebenezer Church on the corner of Bloekomboom Street and Palm Drive in Gambleville.

It will start at 10:00 until 11:30.

The guest speaker will be Johanna George, social worker in private practice.

The cost is R100 per ticket.
