IT came to the attention of SAPS Uitenhage management that the contact numbers of certain police stations reflect incorrectly if making use of the Google web search engine.
Therefore the police advise that the community rather download the MySAPS App and become part of the winning team that is breaking digital barriers, fighting crime using the MySAPS App.
MySAPS App is a free, crime-reporting mobile application available for smart phones on Google Play store, Apple App store and for Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) string on featured phones by dialling *134*10111#.
The application was designed to provide South Africans with a new and easy way to access policing services and information.
The new App allows citizens to interact with law enforcement officials through:
. providing tip-offs anonymously
. finding the nearest police stations
. Quick access to all SAPS social media platforms
