SAPS Despatch is urgently seeking the community’s assistance in locating a 37-year-old man from Despatch.
According to Captain Gerda Swart, police spokesperson, George Fredrik Stefanus van der Merwe left his residence in Despatch on the morning of May 1 and never returned.
“George van der Merwe was clad in a pair of blue jeans, a black top and black shoes at the time of his disappearance. He has various tattoos: A cross with the names ‘Natasha and Cindy’ on his back; a flower with an angel on his back; two dragons on his stomach; the wording ‘What am I’ on the left arm and the wording ‘Hope, faith and love’ on the right arm,” Swart explained.
