THE Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality wishes to inform residents that some of the critical services that were disrupted by the industrial action last week have resumed.

NMBM Executive Mayor, Cllr Nqaba Bhanga said that an accelerated approach to service delivery would be adopted to tackle the backlog swiftly.

NMBM Customer Care Centres in Walmer, New Brighton, Motherwell and Govan Mbeki are operational except Uitenhage and Korsten.

In addition, Waste Management services have resumed on Monday, with the refuse collection schedule back to normal.

“We plead with the residents to take out their refuse bags on time as normal,” said Mayor Bhanga.
