AFTER a long break with all the COVID-19 restrictions, the Wildlife and Environmental Society of South Africa’s Algoa Bay branch eventually will continue with their beach and other clean-up campaigns again.
The next beach clean-up will be on Saturday, October 17 at Pollok Beach from 09:30 to 10:30. All interested have to meet at the far end of the parking area close to the Summerstrand Surf Lifesaving Club. Look out for the WESSA feather flags. The landmark will be the Something Good Roadhouse.
COVID-19 protocols must be observed with social distancing adhered to. Please wear masks and bring your own gloves if possible, water, hats and sunscreen. WESSA will provide sanitiser and the bags.
