Talia Brooklyn Prince (18) from Kariega is one of the twenty Miss Grand Supreme Tourist EC finalists and as part of their “do-good” in the community they are assisting KC Mobile Kitchen, a non-profit organisation that helps those in need by providing food, sanitary products, and healthcare.

“We call ourselves KC’s Power Puffs and are raising funds in aid of this charity through raffles, fun runs and other projects. I entered the pageant as I knew this experience would allow me to grow and network with different organisations and charities with the aim of promoting tourism in the Eastern Cape,” said Talia who last year matriculated at Uitenhage High School.

According to Talia she absolutely loves travelling.

“I took tourism as a subject in high school, and it was my favourite. The top destination on my bucket list is Japan as it is rich in culture, architecture and has beautiful people.

“My favourite tourism attraction in the Eastern Cape is any wildlife reserves. I love animals and even though some scare me, they are very precious creatures.”

The Miss Grand Supreme Tourism EC pageant is organised by Luan Events and the crowning of the three winners will be at the finals on 10 December at the Feather Market Hall in Gqeberha.

The winners will represent the Eastern Cape at the Miss Grand Supreme Tourism SA pageant next year in April, and the national winner will represent South Africa internationally.

Talia was accepted to study Performing Arts at AFDA University next year. She currently volunteers part time as a radio host at IFM 88.3 and does small acting projects.
