Executive Mayor Cllr Retief Odendaal also said in reaction to Monday’s planned national shutdown, “I can assure residents and businesses of Nelson Mandela Bay that our SAPS, Metro Police, Traffic Services, Security Services, Private Security, CPFs and Neighbourhood Watches have a firm grip on the situation in Nelson Mandela Bay.”
