John Walton Secondary School, or Mama Walton as it is known in the community, will kick off its 50th anniversary celebrations with a service on Sunday 15:00 at the United Reformed Church Ebenhaeser Congregation.
Local Reverend MP Manasse will be the preacher and will deliver a sermon and prayer to put the past and present learners and teachers in the right frame of mind for the activities to come.
The next event will be a memorabilia launch on Tuesday, 14 March, 15:30 at the school. Special 50th anniversary attire was designed and will be on display at the event. This includes golf shirts, car stickers, key holders, and wall clocks to name a few.
