PE Oval Track Raceway will be celebrating their 65th birthday on Saturday and an exciting day and evening have been planned for this special occasion at the Club’s race circuit in Greenbushes.
The program will include a classic car display in the morning, rally car event, Radiowaves Sound Off competition and the oval racing at 17:00 with two heats and a final in each of the 10 classes.
Racers from Oudtshoorn, George Motor Club, Border and Victory Raceway will join in the fun and Jody van Zummeren from East London will do several demo runs in his powerful Late Model V8.
During interval in the evening, there will be sweeties for kids and a classic car display will be held on the racetrack.
Spectators are welcome to park around the track for free. There is also ample seating on the enclosed Grandstand.
