Members of the Uitenhage Lions Club recently embarked on a project to beautify and repair the playground at the Langa Community Pre-primary School in Kariega.

In addition to the painting and repairing of play equipment, several educational books and toys were also donated to the school.

“The Lions of Uitenhage decided to get involved in more hands-on projects. All the painting and repair work was done by members themselves. Some of the paint was donated by The Colour Centre in Gqeberha,” said Lions President Donze Landman.
