SAPS Kamesh responded to a shooting incident on March 30 at about 06:15 where a 19-year-old male was shot and killed during a home invasion in Despatch.
According to the SAPS spokesperson, Captain André Beetge, it is alleged that approximately four suspects entered the house by force in Phunze Street, Joe Slovo, Despatch.
“They then went to the 19-year-old male and one of the suspects shot and killed him. They fled the scene afterwards,” Beetge said.
A case of murder was opened and is being investigated by SAPS Kamesh.
