The Rotary Club of Uitenhage South has opened its annual Tree of Joy at Levyvale Superspar. The club has identified 200 needy people at a crèche in KwaNobuhle, a place of safety for at risk mothers and their children, old age homes as well as at a home for children with special needs.

The club has identified 200 needy people at a crèche in KwaNobuhle, a place of safety for at risk mothers and their children, old age homes as well as at a home for children with special needs. According to Clive Hassell from the Rotary Club of Uitenhage South, in many cases the present from Rotary may well be the only Christmas present that these children or persons in need may receive.Shoppers are asked to purchase one of the pre-chosen presents which are all priced at R60 when they visit Levyvale Superspar. There are also lots of other shops and businesses in town who will be glad to accept R60 donations to buy presents.
