THE annual Uitenhage Street Carnival will be held at the end of the month and this year it will include a short fun run of 2.5km starting in Caledon Street.
The event is presented by the Rotary Club of Uitenhage in association with the Muirite Striders Athletics Club. It will take place on Saturday, November 30th at 08:00 and all finishers will receive medals. There will also be prizes for the best costume and various lucky draws which include a brand new bicycle.
Entries and collection of tags will be at the Muirite Striders gazebo in Caledon Street on Friday (November 29) from 17:00 to 19:00 and prior to the fun run on Saturday (November 30) 07:00-07:45.
