After 10 years of successful rides all around the country, at the Herald Cycle Tour this weekend Fuel on Wheels celebrates a decade of service to people living with disabilities. The organisation will celebrate in the only way they know, which is riding for the benefit of others. Fuel on Wheels founder, Johan Oosthuizen said, ‘This weekend, we have organised 7 buggies that will provide 7 children with a dream ride during the 106km tour.’ He added that last year, he cycled over 200km in almost 12 hours, recording an average speed of 22km per hour. Oosthuizen added, ‘Our team of 20 riders is committed to helping these children cross the finish line and experience the joy of cycling.’Photo: SUPPLIED
