THE Rotary Club of Uitenhage South, in conjunction with the Department of Health and various other role-players is hosting health screening days in KwaNobuhle as part of the Rotary Family Health Days.
Rotary Family Health Days offers free health services and vital screening, testing and referrals to communities who may not have access to quality care. These services include HIV counselling and testing; screening for TB, diabetes, high blood pressure and cholesterol and Vitamin A supplementation and immunisations to name a few.
Visits are free and no appointments need to be made. The Health Days will be held from October 2 to 4 at the LoveLife Centre, Tize Road in KwaNobuhle.
A team of community volunteers from The Rotary Club of Uitenhage South will be joined by other local NGOs, businesses and government departments as local site partners.
A similar centre is also being hosted by the Rotary Clubs of Port Elizabeth at Daku Hall in KwaZakele.
