After three weeks of closure, Niven’s Bridge in Cuyler Street, also referred to as the Cuyler Bridge, in Kariega is now considered safe and open for traffic. The repairs, costing R3.8 million, followed severe damage caused by recent floods. Mayor Babalwa Lobishe praised the contractors and promised further improvements for the Kariega area.
