THOSE enjoying adventure challenges to explore whilst contributing towards a good cause, are invited to enter Cansa’s Quest of Conquerors which will be held on March 20th
COVID-19 last year was a spanner in the wheel for Cansa’s Relay for Life, but the wheels this year will be turning again in this new exciting fundraising venture.
Teams consisting of four participants, will have to complete tasks in this “race” in the Nelson Mandela Bay Metropole.
“Cancer does not stop, and neither can we,” explained Marius de Vries, Cansa Community Mobiliser Fund Developer.
“All the components of our Relays, like the Luminaria and Fight Back ceremonies will form part of this unique quest and it is also a great team building initiative,” De Vries added.
Each participating team must sell 20 tickets at R50 each to cover the R1 000 entry fee which includes eight luminaria bags.
The teams will start their adventure at the Cansa Care Centre on March 20th at 13:00, with each team receiving an envelope with the clue they must unravel.
Thereafter they need to head to the next point where they will receive a token as well as their next clue.
Each team must collect all the clues and tokens and the Quest will end at the Cansa Care Centre. The team with the best time wins the 2021 Cansa Quest of Conquerors.
Each ticket sold gets the ticketholder into a draw for: 3 x R600 SPAR shopping vouchers, 2 x R500 Caltex fuel vouchers, ladies’ watch valued R1 000, weekend away for two, R400 biltong hamper, 10 x gift hamper and many more.
