The Tigers from Daniel Pienaar THS in Kariega are most impressed with their first team cricket captain, Nolan di Paolo, who was selected for the Punt Fest Invitational Team touring to India from 23 April to 1 May.
The team will play four matches in New Delhi, Jaipur and Agra. On their off days, the players will do sightseeing and visiting the Taj Mahal will be a highlight.
While on tour, the players will also attend an IPL match – Chenai vs Rajastan Royals.
Zarier Sirkhotte, cricket director and Head of Sport of Daniel Pienaar THS, says that Nolan, an all-rounder, will enjoy and benefit from the different playing conditions in India, and that it will also be valuable experience for his cricket career in the future.
Nolan, who is also a prefect and talented rugby player, is DP’s pride and joy, and the Tigers wish him all the best.
