A day of prayer hosted by Ministry Outreach will be held at the market square in Uitenhage on Saturday, June 27 from 11:00 to 16:00.
According to Gerald Malgas, during a time when all have to keep physically distant from one another, it is more important than ever before that communities draw close to one another spiritually.
The aim of the event is to pray for communities to cope during this crisis and for compassion and strength in confronting the Covid-19 pandemic. Also for solidarity among communities, for businesses which have been badly hit by the effects of lockdown and for people who have lost their jobs and income.
Those attending are requested to adhere to the regulations of maintaining physical distance of at least a metre from one another and to wear masks.
