CHAD Varnicker from Uitenhage last weekend walked away with Rolemodels Foundation’s Sir Eastern Cape 2020 title.
He is the only male in the province who has won both Mr Eastern Cape Primary Schools (2000) as well as Mr Eastern Cape High schools (2005).
Varnicker, a former Mr Brandwag 2005 and talented singer, previously made top 12 in Supersterre, won the Boardwalk Idols competition and performed at the Uitenhage Street Carnival. and still performs at festivals throughout the region.
Nowadays he runs his own events company, performs at festivals throughout the region and is involved in various charity projects.
It is especially charitable events where he as Sir Eastern Cape 2020 will fulfil his duties.
“I am looking forward to motivate children. I want them to believe in themselves and that they can achieve what they focus on, no matter their circumstances,” said Chad.
“I want for them to instil self belief and self confidence.”
Chad was also recently voted Your Voice RSA’s Best Dressed in Nelson Mandela Bay 2019.
Chad was previously known as Chadwell Van Rooyen, but changed his name to Chad Varnicker for branding purposes.
