IN a dazzling celebration of success and dedication, R Model Management & Agency marked its 15th anniversary with an unforgettable awards evening, themed ‘Night at the Oscars.’
This was not only a reflection of another triumphant year, but also a significant milestone in their journey of motivating and inspiring young models. The event saw models and patrons dressed in their finest formal attire, gracing the red carpet with elegance and poise.
Raynaldo Bredenkamp, the founder of the agency, shared his thoughts on the evening’s inspiration. “The awards evening aimed to motivate and encourage models to deliver their utmost best throughout the year,” he said. “We honoured the hard work, dedication, and sacrifices they’ve made. A simple ‘well done’ can mean so much to a person.”
The agency’s vision and mission focus on uplifting the youth and encouraging positive participation within communities. By rewarding hard work, they hope to instil a sense of achievement and motivation in young individuals. “Rewarding hard work helps motivate our young ones,” Bredenkamp emphasised, highlighting the philosophy behind their selection criteria.
Looking ahead, the agency has an exciting calendar for 2025, kicking off with the Eastern Cape’s Next Top Model pageant on March 29, followed by Mr & Miss Inter School NMB on June 28, and Mr & Miss Mandela Day on September 28.
In a touching moment of appreciation, the organisation extended heartfelt gratitude to the media, partners, sponsors, and the public for their support. “It takes a village to raise a child, and today we are firmly ready to begin our Sweet Sixteen celebrations in 2025,” Bredenkamp concluded.
