A grade five learner from Caritas Primary School, Liyakhanya Tsala (right), with the help of her mentor, Lucille O’Grady (left) took part in the Growsmart Storywriting Competition for Grade 4-6 learners. Out of almost 900 stories in the Eastern Cape, her story has made the top 20 and will be published in a book, together with other qualifying stories.
