Caritas Primary learners shine brightly

A grade five learner from Caritas Primary School, Liyakhanya Tsala (right), with the help of her mentor, Lucille O’Grady (left) took part in the Growsmart Storywriting Competition for Grade 4-6 learners. Out of almost 900 stories in the Eastern Cape, her story has made the top 20 and will be published in a book, together with other qualifying stories. On September 7, she will be going to East London to take part in the finals. The top three stories will then be announced at this prestige event. photo: SUPPLIED
