BUDDING young authors are challenged to write an authentic dialogue for a play, movie or story about furry hero, the foxy Detective Inkomba.
This Word Warrior competition is presented by READ Educational Trust and the winner will walk away with a R1 000 cash prize as well as books to the value of R5000 for his or her school.
Entrants aged nine to 16 are encouraged to use their imagination to run wild, creating a scenario where Detective Inkomba solves a mystery of sorts. He could set off on interplanetary travel, engage in covert affairs, local affairs or even a love affair! The sky’s the limit!
The aim of the competition is to discover some budding young South African writing talent!
Entries close on 31 October 2020.
