Giving back is still the order of the day at Hyundai Uitenhage. They have launched their latest outreach project: a food and blanket drive in aid of the local SPCA branch.
They are appealing to the community to consider donating an item or two – or more – or join them later this year for the handover and volunteering at SPCA Uitenhage for a few hours.
The food and blanket drive started on March 1 and will continue until April 30. Donations can be dropped off at their office at 249 Caledon Street, Kariega.
“It’s important to us to get the community involved, even just to volunteer with us. We want to continue to give back to local people and organisations like the SPCA,” said Monique Gerber, sales executive at Hyundai Uitenhage.
“We would really appreciate any donations of blankets and food for cats and dogs, and prefer them to cash donations. And if anyone is unable to come to the office to drop off their donation, they are welcome to contact us and we will arrange to collect it.
“I don’t think the SPCA can ever have enough help. They really do good work, the truly selfless kind,” Gerber said.
A big thank you for the support
Hyundai Uitenhage would also like to say a big thank you to each and every person that supported them in February when they gave a little something back to the local first responders.
