An Addo woman has been stabbed to death, allegedly by her boyfriend
yesterday morning, December 3.
The suspect (39) handed himself over to police in Addo following
the incident.
Just before 08:00, the couple was walking in the street in
Valencia when they later got into an argument. This led to the victim, Yandiswa
Kate, allegedly hitting the suspect with a stone. The suspect allegedly retaliated and
stabbed her once with a knife in the upper body.
Police spokesperson, W/O Majola Nkohli, said that Kate (34)
was declared dead at the scene.
“The suspect is expected to appear in the Kirkwood Magistrate’s
Court on Monday, December 5 on a charge of murder,” he said.
