MANAGEMENT and members from the Uitenhage police bade farewell to six officials who have served the South African Police Service with pride.

Captain W.M. Lugogo, Advocate A.E.H. Keith-Bandath, W/O A.J. Grundlingh, W/O E. Smith, W/O W. Deysel and

W/O H. Mars were sent off by colleagues during a special function that was hosted in their honour.

The acting Station Commander of SAPS Uitenhage, Colonel André Swart said, “We honour you all for dedicating your life to SAPS. The organization will forever be grateful, because you all have served it and the people of this country with pride. May you and your families succeed in all you endeavour to undertake in the near future”.

During the same event, five police officials were rewarded for completing 30 years of dedicated service to SAPS. They are Captain J. Louwrens, Captain A. Bezuidenhout, W/O R. Coleman, D/W/O N.P. Mbambosi, D/W/O J. Victor and D/W/O K.W. Godfrey.
