Reverend Allan Houlie has been appointed as the new pastor at the Uitenhage Baptist Church as from 1st August 2019.
Pastor Houlie’s induction will be held on Sunday, 4 August by reverend Andy Sullivan, a previous pastor of the church. Church.
Pastor Houlie studied Theology at Cape Town Baptist Seminary and he has previously held the position of Senior Pastor at Parkside Baptist in East London, Bethel Baptist in Stanger, Durban West Baptist and Umtata Baptist Church.
Pastor Houlie and his family are well-known in Uitenhage circles. He is married to Pauline, an accomplished musician and they have two sons, Benedict who lives in New York with his wife Angela and Jared who is currently a student at Nelson Mandela University.
